He said he used parts of it. He was impressed with the speed of the templating system and made reference to the article on Django's speed vs RoR. I was pleased that he accurately recalled how Django got started. It was a great podcast. I recommend listening to it if you haven't already. There were some interesting insights on Python design, past and future.
