I like eric5 for this, it's python 3.x though. But great collabrotive tools involved, including a chat server and issue tracker. Gobby is another, but his is more general purpose than coding. I've also seen screen + [vi|emacs|nano] for collaboritve coding on the server side. As for etherpad nope, never have bothered, never heard of it till now ftr.
