right *OK* now I get it..... see, just needed a little push in the right
direction...
so I moved super up
I then changed to use resized_image = Image.open(self.image)
I then changed *self.image.save('%s.jpg' % suf.name, suf, save=False)
*and* BOOM! *all working!*
