Hey there guys

While trying to override the email field, extending the AbstractUser class
i looked for ways to do that, eventually sticking with the one this user
suggested<http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15597188/using-email-as-username-field-in-django-1-5-custom-user-model-results-in-fielder/15603839#15603839>on
 stackoverflow

CustomUser._meta.get_field_by_name('email')[0]._unique=True

Although this is not elegant, it seemed to me the best way to do so. Do you
guys have any better solution?
I was also looking (as the user who posted this on stackoverflow) for a
"official" or recommended way to do this

Thanks!

João
