I called a consultant and he told me to write the following code
INSTALLED_APPS = (
'polls',
'django.contrib.admin',
'django.contrib.auth',
'django.contrib.contenttypes',
'django.contrib.sessions',
'django.contrib.messages',
'django.contrib.staticfiles',
and that solved the issue. but i'm a little confused as to why the apps.py
module is not being created.
