Django is a framework, not a programming language.

Django is written in Python and thankfully Python is IMO a very nice language for a beginner to learn, while still being very useful for "real stuff" eg. building websites in a framework like Django.

So my suggestion would be, that you start by learning at least the basics of Python. There a tons of tutorials and books on that out there. I cannot really recommend anything, but maybe someone else can?

In my opinion, if you start by trying to learn both a programming language (Python) and a framework (Django) at the same time, you are only making things harder for yourself. Just my 2 cents.

Kind regards,
