That seems like a very effective way to do things. It also seems fairly complicated (I have no idea where I would even start with creating an evolution function, or getting the app to check for it on startup). How much work did it take you to set up the infrastructure to do something like that? Would you mind sharing some more about what you did? OT: One of the things I really like about Django (especially compared to Ruby on Rails), is that it's fairly clear in most cases how things work, and (even for a relatively inexperienced programmer like me) where to begin if you need to do something outside the free "generic" stuff. You're always on solid ground.
