Hey, What you need first off will be a geo active db backend, for that I will advise you use something like this
Url: https://hub.docker.com/r/kartoza/postgis/ It's a postgres GIS powered db backend, from there you can design your models to hold any location type I.e as polygon, multipolygon, lat, long, specifying of SRID for your map etc, line type etc and you will have all capacity to search by coordinates and all. >From there the rest should be convenient to accomplish.
