Is it possible to run a django web server on a nix box and communicate with a MS-SQL (2000) database on a Windoz 2003 server. I am looking for a good python framework, and django seems like it might be the one, but if it can't do this, that could be a show stopper. From what I have seen, there is only the adodapi that you can use to connect to sql server (and it may not be great), and I believe that has to run on a doz box.
I am trying to migrate away from windows, thus the desired implementation above. Plan won't work if I have to run django on a windows box. Help anyone ...
