Perfect. Thanks guys. While I don't really agree with the philosophy behind purposely limiting the template language, as a rule I prefer to keep as much in the view as possible, so this solution appeals to me.
Bottom line, if I weren't using mostly Javascript based, Ajax style updates, I would likely use a more powerful templating language.
