Router appliance needs a Python web GUI. This is a contract job, which can be done remotely. We have not selected a framework. If you have a preferred framework, like, say, Django, and can show significant work that you've done with it, we would adopt that framework. Rails is under consideration, but we have more Python expertise.
We have an IP router application with a command line interface and a non-functional but illustrative GUI prototype in Python/GTK/Glade. What we need from you is an attractive, responsive web-application GUI that configures the router application via writing a config file, and configures some things on the Linux host platform in similar ways. The complexity of this GUI is very similar to a contemporary domestic router/gateway/firewall appliance. The GUI is on the critical path at this point and rapid development is required. You need to hit the ground running, and be readily available for conference calls and online collaboration. The author of the C router application and command line interface is a key resource you need to work well with. * **Contact**: Steve Grassi, Engineering Mgr. * **E-mail contact**: [EMAIL PROTECTED] * **Other Contact Info**: Technical Contact: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (I wrote this.) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django users" group.
