Is is possible with Create/update/delete generic views to get the user that's logged in's ID and use? I have a field with a FK for user, I'd really just like to use the generic views for this, since it's a simple thrown together internal site, instead of writing out other views/forms/etc.
So, when someone creates a new entry it automatically inserts their user_id in the table in the 'user' field? Then they can only edit their own entries? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django users" group.
