Couch and mysql being completely different techs solving completely  
different problems and answering different needs/requirements, I think  
any attempt to show that one is inherently better than the other is  
deeply misguided unless it's based on quite precise (and coherent)  
usage patterns and scenarios.

It's worse than comparing apples and oranges, it's comparing apples  
and potatoes.
