So i have been trying to get a solid search going in django. I have seen things liek Whoosh and Solr or Lucene(sp?) which all add fulltext searching to your models. Are these better than the mysql fulltext searches? Is there a major benefit to go with one of these other packages or write something else beyond mysql-fulltext?
