which URL causes that error? please note that in order to use grappelli you have to setup the admin- site before, see http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/ref/contrib/admin/#ref-contrib-admin. maybe this should be mentioned in the docs, but I guess it´s pretty obvious.
