Hi All,
wandering on the web, I noticed that there is an old project aimed to
make Django compatible with Google Gears (see:
http://code.google.com/p/django-offline/).

This project appears to have died just after its creation, in 2007,
without releasing any file/tool. All of this in sharp contrast with the
birth of "Gears on Rails" (see: http://code.google.com/p/gearsonrails/).

What did happen to Django Offline?

Is there any news about making Django compatible with Google Gears? Any
available tool? Any special version of Django? Any extension/plug-in?
Any tutorial/guide/docu? Anything else?

Thanks in advance
