I'm trying to create a vehicle selector form using the following model
code.
class CarManu(models.Model):
car_manu = models.CharField(max_length=40)
class CarModel(models.Model):
manu = models.ForeignKey(CarManu)
car_model = models.CharField(max_length=40)
class CarYear(models.Model):
manu = models.ForeignKey(CarModel)
car_year = models.CharField(max_length=12)
class CarSpec(models.Model):
year = models.ForeignKey(CarSpec)
car_spec = models.CharField(max_length=40)
can anyone link me to an example of doing this so that i can work out
how to
- link the obects via inlines on an admin form to make it easier to
create them
- create a front end form so that the user can select his vehicle?
have googled and found not a lot.
