We've been discussing this amongst the core; we should be making some
sort of formal announcement shortly, but I suspect what we announce
will be something like:

 * Very soon, we will cull the 1.2 ticket list to only include those
problems that result in data loss or are significant problems with
features added in 1.2

 * We'll fix those problems

 * Once the last ticket is closed, we'll announce the RC1 string freeze

 * We'll cut the 1.2 final release a week after that.

We can't guarantee that there won't be any translation string changes
between now and RC1, but the code base is stabilizing, so if there are
any late translation additions, they should be fairly minor. The trunk
code base right now should be a reasonable approximation of what will
be in RC1.
