Hey alls,
i work at national semiconductor in santa clara, and if you guys are having some
problems donating blood, here is some info. It was sent out earlier today at my work.
If you'd like to try and donate blood here at our site, i can try and setup some
visitor passes (we have tight security on our campus). Just hit me back up. Anyways,
heres the info:
To: Santa Clara Employees
From: Environmental Health & Safety Services
According to the Stanford Blood Center, during the next few weeks and months blood
donation will be very important. Stanford is asking donors to be aware that there will
an ongoing need for blood and and request that they make an appointment to bolster
current blood supply in the event that it will be needed.
Stanford Blood Center can coordinate efforts for those employees who would like to
donate blood. Call 1-650-723-7994. A Stanford Coordinator will assist you regarding
blood donation and a facility closest to you.
National has a blood drive scheduled for Oct. 2. Please call CHIPS at 1-7162 to sign
up.
Additionally, efforts with the American Red Cross are being coordinated and an onsite
blood drive date will be released as information is available.
