You should see (both of you) if you could push that into Fedora. At least in Debian, a package can be uploaded with more than one maintainer, which can share the load (meaning that the other maintainer can overtake if you're busy). I had/have a wonderful experience with Debian where I maintain two other packages, and the QA/feedback I got left me impressed at every step.
