The funny thing is, I never said that anyone should rewrite their code
or break backwards compatibility.   I've only stated that receivers
should not send false positives.

Sadly this is a false statement by you John.   I've provided you and
others with links to prove that I have the tools to identify problems
at at least 4 receivers.
