It's a real issue. All of the solutions scale pretty badly, but
approaches that start by enumerating reasonably trustworthy ESPs seem
less awful than something that requires cooperation from the users'
mail providers.
So, this is the constantcontact or announce list solution, ie instead of
just using their mail client directly (possibly because of sending limits)?
It's not just sending limits, it's also list management and message design
tools.
