Ah yes, I was thinking about that just after posting it. I generally release code under GPLv3 and will make that explicit unless anyone convinces me that that license would create t0o many conflicts. I would think since it is just a bunch of shell scripts it wouldn't cause many problems (not linking to anything else). > Also, I believe other batch systems have similar mechanisms for > integrating batch jobs with the checkpointing library, but do you know > if there is anything Grid Engine specific, or would other batch > systems benefit from this work as well? I've never used any other batch system, so I can say much about this. But it does strike me as very gridengine specific, although the approach may be transferrable. > > Thanks! > Rayson > > ================================================== > Open Grid Scheduler - The Official Open Source Grid Engine > http://gridscheduler.sourceforge.net/ > > > On Wed, Oct 10, 2012 at 7:05 PM, Orion Poplawski <[email protected]> wrote: >> I've just published my initial attempt at integrating dmtcp into gridengine >> here: >> >> https://github.com/opoplawski/gridengine_dmtcp >> >> It seems to work reasonably well for me.
