Hi, I means the program create checkpoint and rollback itself without exit, Instead of restart a new one by mtcp_restart.

All you need is to exec into dmtcp_restart program with the ckpt-image as the argument? Do you know the specific point where you would want to do the rollback? Also, on a related note, we have a reversible debugger FReD (Fast Reversible Debugger). You can check it out here https://github.com/fred-dbg. We haven't updated it lately, so it's possible that it is broken right now. But if there is some interest, we can talk more about it.
