Hi,
I'm trying to build DMTCP 2.3.1 on Ubuntu 12.04, and make check consistently
fails for the tests file1 and tcsh if DMTCP_TMPDIR is mounted under nfs. Also,
sometimes other tests such as pthreads3 and emacs fail, but not consistently.
file1 ckpt:PASSED rstr:FAILED (first process exited: oldstatus 99)
retry:FAILED
root-pids: [24815] msg: restart error, 1 expected, 0 found,
running=0
tcsh ckpt:PASSED rstr:PASSED; ckpt:FAILED
root-pids: [7394] msg: checkpoint error, 2 expected, 1 found,
running=1
How significant is this? Is there a workaround?
