Hi All!

I have an installation with two nodes (PCs) in an Ethernet LAN, with:
-Debian 8 Jessi,
-DMTCP 2.4.2
-OpenMPI 1.10.1.

I launch an MPI application over the 2 nodes (with 4 processes on
each). I want to evaluate the "non-compression" behavior. So I first
tried setting the environment variable (export DMTCP_GZIP="0"), and
after that, I tried using the option dmtcp_launch --no-gzip

The result was always that the node were the application was launch,
didn't compress (expected behavior) but the other node do compress.
So, I couldn't get the 2 nodes with the non-compression behavior. I
checked the checkpoint files and the sizes were fine (bigger in the
node where the non-compression works).

Any idea?
Thanks!
Marina
