if yer running win9x/me, download EZSCI from Adatpec.com to reinstall your
ASPI layer...might fix it.

ASPI is the scsi software abstraction to let crappy (IMO, no flames please)
IDE devices be seen as scsi devices to software......

Did you just install the roxio software or CDRWIN too?  cause CDRWIN some
with it's won set of aspi drivers....
