I’ve already explained you can’t do it. The samples are independent of the presets. Why would you want to put two samples on the same number?

Here how it works: Preset 1 can have 4 samples (1 to 4) assigned to voices 1-4 in that preset. Preset 2 can have 4 samples (5-9) assigned to voices 1-4 in that preset.

It’s really irrelevant that the samples in preset two are numbered 5 to 9. It is the fact that they are assigned to voices 1-4 in the preset that is important.

You seem to be getting voices and samples confused. You should read the manual for an explanation of the differences.

Come on... someone must know hwo I do this or if its possible or if its not possible tell me the logic in why its not possible!I'll go thru it again.

I want a break cut into four starting on sample 1-4 in preset 1 and then another break into four starting on sample 1 -4 in preset 2.

The only way I can do it is to load break A into preset one on samples one to four, then load break b into preset 2 into samples 5-9. When I look in Voices-main I can see all the bits of the breaks in releveant sample positions. But it seems I cannot put two samples on the same sample number I.e sample 001 even when they are in different presets.
Seems weird to me. Any ideas. Should I be Multisampling i.e have the break cut up into four but as one voice?
Feeling confused
Will.
