midi sample dump is usually difficult to setup, unreliable and *very* slow!

You may know something I dont, but midi would only be used for triggering 
samples on your sampler. You would have to send samples from your mac 
through your soundcard. Or does your sampler have a floppy\zip drive? That 
will work too.
