i'm a very big fan of the L1 Ultramaximizer... i didn't like the bbe,
though, it just seemed to give me the effect of bad shelve eq's on the low
and high ends (even though it's supposed to do these amazing things with
rearranging harmonics and whatnot). every once in a while, i'll run things
through my analog mixer and have things clipping just a tiny bit, to get a
little bit of fatness, but the ultramaximizer's been great.

Subject: [dnb-prod] [trey] Processing the entire mix

I was just thinking it might be useful to start a thread regarding what
people do to polish their stereo mix.

I've tried different things in the past.. like using Steinbergs Mastering
edition compressor and loudness maximizer.

One thing I've discovered that I like lately is to run the whole mix
through the PSP analogue warmer with the gain at 3/4 db and then a regular
compressor/limiter to keep it from going over. Its a nice sound it makes.

Any other analog plugins you guys like ? Mastering plugins? Finalizing
plugins?
