>HI > >This track is probably the wierdest DnB track i ever Heard! >are you influenced by any drum and bass artist? i'm curious!
It's funny, the original was much wilder and much faster. This is getting dangerously close to the topic that had me storming off this list in a hissy fit a few months back, but, while I am a fan of the drum 'n' bass sound,- if others' reactions are to be trusted,- I fail spectacularly in trying to emulate it. That's why I call my music a Rorshach test; I'm not hearing what separates my music from dancefloor d'n'b, but others seem to have different, highly subjective, perceptions of it. I got into dnb with a cd called "Drum 'n' Bass Conspiracy" which featured the work of continentals like Daniel Myer and Peter Schwalm, and to this day it remains my benchmark for all drum 'n' bass I hear. I consider most of the music on there weirder than my stuff, so maybe that's why I have such a skewered perception. I would be flattering myself were I to compare my music to something like Hokusai's "Sculptures Hide", but that's essentially what I'm aiming at. Anyway, thanks for your opinions.
