Opportunities and Fragments are both good tracks in my ears. I agree
they could probably use a little work on the drum programming, but
they're also the sort of tracks that aren't really so focused on the
beat so it probably isn't that big of a deal.
The jazz components are great and work well in the frameworks of the
songs. The beat itself could sound a bit meatier, perhaps. The spoken
word parts of Fragments are cool and add a lot to the track.
I'm not that into Midnight Robbery. It doesn't really go anywhere for
me. I'd keep bobbing my head if it came over the sound system, but I
wouldn't stop to listen or wonder what I was hearing.
I say work on the jazzier tracks more. I'm a sucker for stuff like
that. 8-)
