I've been using Wavelab 3 to encode my .mp3s ... WOW are there problems ... I listened w/ headphones to my .wav masters vs. my mp3s. I'm not talking just a degradation in sound quality, but little ticks, and pops in the sound. Admittedly, this is 128kb stuff ... not the best in the world, and I haven't listened to 192-320. But the artifacting is really surprising me. Is this what you guys are getting to?
