I'm curious to know how it is that you're dissapointed with the 01V's
sound. Have you brought in other desks and A/B compared the sounds in your
studio?
I agree on this.
My 01V sounds fantastic. IMHO you'll be at a disadvantage going back to an analogue Mackie..just to accquire a certain *sound*.....and more importantly you'll miss all those FX/compression and scene memory of the 01V I woulda thought, well I'd miss it anyway, but thats me, each to their own.
