hi, in don't know if the cutting studio's equipment can actually handle the input rate... but converting from that rate to 44.1khz should give better results than rending to 44.1 in the first place. also, for a live performance, higher resolutions are a huge improve to the sound...
according to dubplates & mastering (a recommended & established place in berlin) only accepts media such as cdr, dat, tape,md interesting to know (should give 'em a call) is the option of sending a data cd-r with wav files or 1/4" tape (!?!? ;) btw they use pro tools, can pro tools handle that res/rate? it should be taken in consideration that the latter options require extra studio time, which is fking expensive and also that all this effort is probably not worth it if you can convert to 44khz for yrself... which rises another question... which soft has the most accurate resampling algorithm....... *sigh* ;) ah, well... cheers, christian At 11:59 19.04.2002 -0700, you wrote: >I've got a sound card with 24bit/96khz capabilities.
