Title: Re: [dnb-prod] emi 2 6
Are you using the power supply? Maybe the noise is because of a lack of power coming into it. I'm running it off of just the USB. Maybe I should get a power supply and try that out. Thanks

I have the emi 2|6 with the latest drivers for XP. I haven't noticed any noise. There is a slight problem with getting the settings correct to not output choppy audio though. I hope getting the power supply  for it would help this problem.

Anyone here have the emagic emi 2 6 by chance? I just picked one up used on eBay for my laptop and I've been noticing an audible hum/noise coming from all of my outputs. Seems almost like USB noise. You can only hear this at high levels, and it gets worse when running ASIO drivers. I'm interested to see if anyone else has this problem, or if it's just a bad side of USB audio? Thanks
