i second that... i got reason, and it seems like a great toy, but i fell in
love with the "orkester" orchestral sound library for the nn-xt sampler...
if any of you haven't tried it, please do so, you won't be sorry. velocity
switching on the samples, so if you set the velocity higher, you'll hear the
bow striking the violin strings, and if the velocity's lower, the strings'll
fade in. real nice work on it, but i don't wanna use reason just for one
sound library, so extracting a few instruments into soundfonts or logic
exs24 instruments would rock (even though i don't know how you'd go about
doing the velocity switching, but screw it, i'll run 2-3 violin samplers to
get hard or soft attacks, as long as i can use those nice, crisp samples).
anyone got any ideas, cause the .rfl or whatever files are supposedly very
proprietary... :(

Subject: [dnb-prod] Extracting samples from refill files?

Ey-up,

I've had a little play around with Reason 2 and in all honesty I found it
utterly useless. However, there are a couple of samples in a refill file I
stumbled across that I could use. Is there a program that can extract them?
Preferably translating the NN19 instrument to something usable like EXS or
even SF2 format, or at very least, let me extract the wav.

Cheers!

Dyayv
