eh.. no, it would be hard to make a "fair" comparison.. I could just disable the plugins but any gain maximizing plugin is better than none, so of course the UAD would end up sounding better. A fairer comparison would be to use the built in fruityloops compressors... but the track has changed too much since that mp3 - if I can get around to it, I'll try to make a track for comparison purposes later this week.
