I think FL is tremendous value (it's so cheap its worth buying) though you really want Beatslicer as well. The more I use it the better my tunes sound. Which sounds a bit stupid but when I first started using it I sounded like R2D2 playing on a casio keyboard. Now I sound more like Chewbacca on drums and C3PO on a casio keyboard.
