Hmmm, that sounds like a practical way if you can pull that off.

I on the other hand like to tweek and change sounds a lot (and often too much), 
because 
there's always something that needs to sound phatter/wetter/dryer/sharper/bassyer to 
make 
it fit better with that other sound in there :)
