Ez people, If anyone knows ANYTHING about this please speak up as I really need some help. I just got a copy of recycle & have been trying to set up my Yamaha A4000 as the connected sampler. If I try to 'find' the sampler it tells me there is a midi communication error and to check the settings. If I manually add the sampler as an A3000 it gives the same message and again the same if I try to add it as a Generic sampler.
I know that propelerheads doesn't officially support the A4/5000 but does support the A3000 but I know that people with the A4000 have used it with recycle and it has worked. Propelerheads won't give me any tech support as the A4000 isn't supported and Yamaha's sampler guy in Tech support is on holiday! The manual does say that it may not work if your midi interface is any kind of midi-merger, and I am using a midisport 2x2 so this could be the problem, but I don't want to have to but another midi interface just to see if this fixes the problem AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Anyone have any info that may help? Otherwise I may have to give up writing music and go and live in the hills living off berries and roots until my dying days�.
