Hello people, I've heard this term loads of times and I still don't really know what the use of them is. I've read in music production books (not dnb) they're useful for delays and have heard people on the list say there snares that are lower in volume than the main snare. I'm just a little confused as to what they do. If this is all that they do could you not put in a snare at a lower volume, or is that what it means?
