hehe.. Mine are exactly the same.. I forget which model but they are an Senheisser HD model..
I've kept hold of mine coz they broke just after the guarantee ran out and I was skint at the time... I've managed to keep them going by using electrical tape to hold the cable in place but I would definately make sure not to get a similar pair next time..
