TotalRecorder (www.totalrecorder.com) is worth a go -- it steps in between
Windows and your normal sound card driver and records everything digitally
to a WAV file... Works pretty well too.

You might even be able to find something to help you with registration at
*cough* astalavista.box.sk *cough*

cheers
Michael

Subject: [dnb-prod] downloading and saving real media files? (.rm)

Does anyone know how you save a real media file from the web when it's set
up to be streamed?

I've downloaded the .ram file which contains the actual link to the .rm file
but I can't figure out how to save it instead of stream it?!?!

I know I could probably just record it directly into the soundcard but my
work machine's soundcard is a bit poo poo!

Any ideas?

cheers,

Nick
