I've never used Wavesurgeon, so can't give you too much help with regards to actual functions, but I'm assuming it works like most other WAV editors. From the tutorial, personally, I would ignore assigning each section it�s own midi channel and just use the cut and paste facility to create a new break. Some breaks won�t work properly, using this method, so it�s best to start practicing using the good old Amen break. You may not want to use the end product in a tune, but it�ll give you good grounding in chopping up breaks.
