IT's probably the sample rate of the samples..
 
You need to set Cubase to run at the same sample rate that the waves are recorded at...
 
If you've got SX then you just go to the Project menu and choose Project Settings..
 
 
You should be able to see the sample rate somewhere in SF. .. Maybe in the properties box on the File menu..

ive edited some samples in sound forge 6 and they sound excellent but when i take them into cubase, the tempo and pitch is totally different. the sample doesnt sound like how it did on soundforge. also when i put the sample in one after another in the arrangement i get pauses in between.

any ideas of how to over come this..veritas
