I didn't think I'd like this, as Portishead were one of my favourite 'bands'
in the 90's, but this remix ain't too bad at all. If I could make some
rather sweeping constructive criticisms, I'd say that:

- It's too long; the breakdown (if you can call it that!) comes in past 3:00
- There doesn't seem to much of a traditional dnb structure
- The vocal sample sounds a little cheesey when it's played as a stab
instrument (how can it, how can it, how, how, how, etc) - the vocal sounds
nice; can't you let it play as normal with some sort of filter on it?
- Would be nice to hear some more of the vocal too.

All of these remarks probably aren't relevant if you're going for something
a little bit different, but if I was doing a dancefloor remix of your
remix(!) I'd make the above changes.

But what do I know; it's quite refreshing to hear something that isn't the
same old formulaic shit - keep up the good work!

Peace, Milo

Speaking of remixes..

Heres a sneak peak of one that's coming out on my album in a few months..
For all you Portishead fans out there, it's a remix of Roads. I got a local

Toronto Opera singer to reperform the vocals for me, and the tune turned out
well.
Not just another one of those 'same tune with a DnB beat behind it' type of
remixes.

I apologize for the low quality of the Real Media file, but there has been
some funny business
lately with the publishing of stolen tunes.

Enjoy..
