Rob,
I have
my mixer's AMP phono sockets connected to a cable with a stereo jack at the
other end.
I then
plug this into my Line-in socket on my soundcard.
this
works fine, and I can then save my own mixes onto my hardrive
etc.
If you
have your tape deck plugged into one of the line inputs of your mixer then you
can just toggelt he phono/line selector and no cord swapping is
involved!
I have
both of my turntables, my tape deck and my CD deck plugged into my mixer - so I
can sample from my own CD's and records, as well as record anythnig I do on the
decks..
good
luck,
Matt

Subject: [dnb-prod] 2 good questions1>How can I save a mix cd on my computer as all one mix? All the tracks are seperated individually.2> How can I get an audio out, out of my home amp. There are only three outs on a home amp and they are headphone out, speacker out, and record out. Im told the record out is a -10 db line level that should work as a audio out. Ive tried it and all I get is a high pithc squeal if I turn it up loud. I want to be able to have my amp hooked up to my comp so I can record of my turntables and tapedeck without switching all the cords.any suggestions???????????????????????> >_________________________________________________________________ >Internet access plans that fit your lifestyle -- join MSN. >http://resourcecenter.msn.com/access/plans/default.asp > > >--- >Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk >You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To unsubscribe send a blank email to >[EMAIL PROTECTED]
