No mate, it's the FM7 combined with a sampled pad going through the FruityLoops
granular synthesizer. The mQ is gonna re-appear as
pad-machine real soon, though - can't really NOT use it, can I. ;)

It's my voice going through a vocoder, with the pads of the tune as carrier signal. :)

Nope, not the slightest - that might be an indication that I have kept my "sound"
since I made Puzzle though. :-)

Yes mate, sorry... I should have mentioned - I posted it a few weeks back. I actually
did a new version of it yesterday so check that
out if you want to! (I'll post a link ASAP.)

Hehe... as I said, check the new version, but this track doesn't havea very distinct
bassline, instead I work with sub on the kicks
and another bassline that is pretty lowpass filtered and non-dominating. I might use a
more defined bassline in the next track I
write though, but in this track this is the sound I was looking for. :)

Hehe... so you don't like the trance meets industrial metal style? :) I personally
like the original Crossed Roots a lot so I thought
it was really fun to remix it a bit and tweak the sounds around to get them as I
wanted them to sound.
