I wouldn�t think so. You either need to loop the sample or time stretch
it which will change the tempo. 

If the sample has a definite rhythm/tempo then looping is probably your
best bet. Crossfade looping can help these sorts of sounds to loop
properly. 

If the sample has no definite rhythm or tempo then time stretch would
probably the best method.
